We're about to book our first cruise on Viking and I'm trying to find out where they usually dock in Ft Lauderdale. We're long time Princess cruisers and use the terminal parking for shorter cruises. So convenient to get off Princess, walk across the street, get in your car and go home! The following timetable provides valuable information and keeps track of the future cruise shiparrivals from all major cruise lines.
Ports by Region
All parking lots are within walking distance of cruise terminals. The only exception is terminal 29, which does not have dedicated parking nearby. A free shuttle connects the terminal with the Palm Parking Garage. Terminal 19Sitting on the south edge of Midport, Terminal 19 offers 1,300′ of berth and a cruise terminal that’s nearly 100,000 square feet. Given the location right next to Terminal 18, there’s also a good chance that one of the world’s largest cruise ships will be right next to your ship on cruise day. As everything is within a walking distance, getting from the port to any of the destinations is a piece of cake.

The Palm Parking Garage hosts 1,966 spaces serving terminals 19, 21, 25, 26 and 29. A free shuttle service is provided between Cruise Terminal 29 and the Palm Parking Garage. Depending on your cruise terminal, you want to use a different entrance to get into the port so that you can get to your ship faster. As a rule of thumb, the hotels that are away from the beach typically have better prices and more benefits to attract cruisers. Those mega hotels right on the water usually make you pay dearly to park and often have resort fees as well. Look for hotels near the airport or those within walking distance of the port for the best deals. Terminal 26Toward the southern end of the port, Terminal 26 is perhaps the easiest terminal to get to. Parking is available at the Midport Garage (also known as the Palm Garage), right across the street from the cruise terminal.
